Description

I hoped not to have to do a picture like this for a very long time. Sadly, that isn't the case.

As most of you know, I lost someone very close to me about 7 months ago, my Grandmother. Well, sadly, it seems that my Grandfather could not be without her and I lost him just little over two short weeks ago. My Grandpa, like my Gram, was a very influential person in my life. My dad was never in my life, so my Grandpa took that role.

He taught me how to work with wood and took me camping and fishing. He gave me a fascination in trains and NASCAR. He was my rock and my hero for so long. He was the male figure in my childhood and the person I looked up to the very most.

I am still in shock and can't believe he is gone...and so soon after my grandma...

About the picture itself:
I chose a coyote to represent him because the are abundant where we live and their mischievous nature definitely represent him and his wile ways. He always had some hair-brained scheme on how to fix something or a big project he wanted to undertake.

As for the location, it's based at one of our favorite fishing holes along the river. This time of year especially, when it was cool and the leaves were changing color, we would love to go fishing.

I couldn't possible think of a more fitting tribute picture, than of him fishing along the river.

I love you Grandpa.
Rest in Peace
